Previous Labs

Dr. Balakrishnan was involved as a graduate research assistant at the Immersive Environments Lab and the Immersive Construction Lab at Penn State University. After joining the University of Missouri (MU) he established the Immersive Visualization Lab (iLab) in 2010 and led it through 2021, He is also a Co-PI on an NSF MRI grant that established a VisBox VR CAVE at MU in Engineering. He is currently working on building both the research team as well as the research infrastructure at the SIVA Lab in Mississippi State.
